Photorealistic Winter Forest Created With Unreal Engine 5.2

B.O.W. showcased an incredible new scene achieved with UE5.2's Nanite and Lumen.

Environment/Lighting Artist Bow Qin, also known as B.O.W., continues pushing the boundaries of digital realism with yet another marvelous 3D scene that can easily be mistaken for a simple photo. This time, the creator showcased a photorealistic winter forest environment, set up using 3ds Max, Megascans assets, and Unreal Engine 5.2.

According to the author, the final result was achieved with UE5's Nanite, with all of the scene's geometry being Nanite meshes, and Lumen, which was used to set up two realistic-looking lighting scenarios.
