Adobe has released Photoshop 25.2 and Photoshop on the iPad 5.3, improving the most popular photo editing software and adding new and familiar features.
For Photoshop 25.2, the company improved the Layers panel by introducing a customizable flyout menu and right-click options. This should save you some time and help achieve "more professional and creative results as you experiment with different layer combinations and effects."
Photoshop on the iPad received the AI-powered Generative Fill function that desktop users know very well by now. You can add a background, remove distractions or unwanted elements, create unique content, and more with a simple text prompt.
Earlier this month, Adobe also launched Substance 3D Painter 9.1, introducing SVG and transparency support as well as drag-and-drop and Path tool improvements.
Photoshop is available for Windows 10+ and macOS 11.0+. Subscriptions start at $34.49/month or $263.88/year.
