Primarily a bugfix release, it also adds support for the latest versions of Maya, Katana, and Houdini.
Pixar has shipped RenderMan 26.3, the latest version of its 3D rendering software for VFX and animation, building upon the major update launched earlier this year.
This release mainly targets bug fixes and crashes across several areas, including RIS and XPU, and extends support to current versions of host DCC software, including Maya 2025, Katana 8.0, and the latest release of Houdini 20.5. Additionally, it brings some workflow enhancements for denoising, allowing users to denoise images in tiles, which reduces memory usage when working with large images.
