Three free content updates and one story DLC are to be expected throughout the year with the first update coming next week.
Ubisoft, developer and publisher of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, has unveiled the post-launch roadmap for the game. The roadmap outlines three free content updates and an additional new story DLC, all planned for release in 2024.

First on the roadmap, scheduled for next week, March 20th, is the 'Warrior's Path' update. This free update will introduce a Speedrun Mode and Permadeath Mode, alongside a variety of new outfits for the character Sargon.

Following 'Warrior's Path', the Spring 2024 update titled 'Boss Attack', will feature a Boss Rush mode and additional Sargon outfits. The roadmap further extends into summer with the 'Divine Trials' update, promising new combat, platform, and puzzle challenges, along with new in-game items.

The highlight of the roadmap is a brand new story DLC, expected to be released later in 2024. While details about this content remain scant, it suggests an expansion of the main storyline.

The game received positive feedback upon its release in January, particularly for its engaging platforming and combat mechanics. Despite having some minor flaws, the game has a great rating of 86 on Metacritic and has got 300,000 players back in January.
