ProbablyMonsters, the gaming company founded by former Bungie President and CEO Harold Ryan, shared a new impressive milestone it achieved during the year 2022. Previously, the company announced that it had raised $250 million in a Series A funding round. And now, it revealed that it has grown by 65% this year.
According to ProbablyMonsters' Chief People Office Shannon Armstrong, the company's sustained growth is driven by its recruitment strategy of combining work from the office with working remotely.
"In today’s world, not every employee needs the same thing. Some people really miss the in-person collaboration of the office, and some are just as productive working in a remote or hybrid mode," Armstrong said. "At ProbablyMonsters, we empower our teams to choose the working model that’s right for them. For us, it’s a matter of focus."
She also added that the company heavily invests in equal hybrid and remote options and even created a separate business unit responsible for hiring people for remote positions from any of the 47 states ProbablyMonsters supports.
In order to support its growth, ProbablyMonsters also expanded its Bellevue, WA headquarters to the second building to provide the employees who chose the hybrid working model with space and resources.
The company also shared that, based on data on cost-living in Bellevue, it established a minimum full-time base salary of $77,000 with full medical benefits as well as additional bonuses. ProbablyMonsters noted that the base compensation package applies to all employees, no matter whether they work from home or in the office.
