iPad can finally be used to paint 3D models.
First, there's stroke stabilization for smooth bold lines and gorgeously tapered strokes. The new version also lets you paint 3D model surfaces with Apple Pencil. You can add adjustments, effects and using materials brushes, you can tweak gloss and reflectivity.
The app also has AR support so that users can see textured 3D works in the real world with augmented reality. To get started with a 3D model, you can import a USDZ or OBJ file that has a UV map ready for painting. Then you can apply details and even work with different maps.
There's more, of course. The tool is now available for $9.99. Learn all about the latest update with 3D tools here.
