Ratchet & Clank-Style Pixelizer Gun Made in Unity

Made for Technically A Challenge, the gun can turn character models into a bunch of voxels.

Game Developer Anthelme Dumont has presented a new Unity-powered project, made as part of Technically A Challenge, Harry Alisavakis' challenge that tasks Tech Artists to create something beautiful related to a certain topic. With the most recent theme being Glitch, Anthelme made an amazing Pixelizer gun that works just like the one in the latest Ratchet & Clank game. When fired at 3D character models, the gun gradually turns them into 2D pixelated sprites, which then break apart into a bunch of 3D voxels.

You can learn more about the project by visiting Anthelme's GitHub page. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
