Razer Unveils 3D Hologram AI Companion Project AVA
An anime girl sits on your desk, keeping you company all day, every day.
At CES 2026, Razer introduced Project AVA, a very futuristic AI-powered desk companion meant to be part of your daily life, including work, gaming, and more. AVA takes the form of a 5.5-inch animated 3D hologram that has a "dynamic personality" that learns and changes based on how you interact with it, and includes several avatars to choose from, including Kira, the anime waifu, and the professional League of Legends player, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.
According to Razer, AVA uses human-like vision and audio sensing for full contextual awareness, allowing two-way conversations and keeping an eye on you and your screen. Currently, AVA runs on the controversial Grok engine, but it's expected to support other AI platforms in the future. It's designed for Windows and connects directly to a PC via a USB-C cable.

Beyond gaming, AVA acts as a "personal organizer for schedules and dinner plans, while serving as a professional AI consultant capable of creative brainstorming and complex data analysis." Razer plans to launch Project AVA in the second half of 2026, though pricing has not yet been announced.
