CG Supervisor and CEO at MAWI United GmbH Willi Hammes has showcased the capabilities of the team's renowned Broadleaf Tree Forest Biome asset pack for Unreal Engine with yet another outstanding demo. This time, the author demonstrated how the latest 4.0 version of the pack can be utilized to create a photorealistic winter forest environment with tons of trees, rocks, small saplings, fallen branches, and dead grass. According to Willi, the biome was made using Unreal Engine 5.
In case you missed it, Broadleaf Tree Forest Biome is MAWI's awesome biome solution released all the way back in 2016. The pack can be used to build photorealistic broadleaf tree forests composed of beech, oak trees, and various plants and includes high-resolution photogrammetry models and textures of trees, rocks, debris, plants, and more.
