Redshift 2026.3 Has Been Released
This update delivers bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, expanding on December's release.
Redshift 2026.3 builds on the features introduced in the 2026.2 release. Notably, you can now change an entire material to Camera mapping directly from the UV Context Projection node. In this mode, make sure to select a projection camera using the Object Picker.
Texture displacement now overrides and smooths all surface normals by default, controlled through the new Edge Handling option available in both global and per-object displacement settings. This quality-of-life improvement helps prevent holes in a mesh caused by split normals. For the easiest workflow, use Smooth Normals globally to avoid holes and set Edge Handling to Vertex Normals per object only when needed. The Vertex Normals option matches previous behavior, giving manual control and maximum flexibility.
