An impressive high for the series.
Capcom has announced that the recently released Resident Evil 4 remake sold over three million units worldwide in the first two days after launch.
The company also shared that by the end of 2022, shipments of all the games in the series had exceeded 135 million copies since the first title debuted in 1996.
Resident Evil 4 was released on March 24 and has been loved by players both new and familiar with the original. Over 168,000 fans played the game at the same time on the second day it was out.
Now, we'll get a Mercenaries DLC on April 7 and maybe even the Separate Ways extension one day if the references found in the game files hint at something real.
Resident Evil 4 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Read the statement here and don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
