Richard Lems' PixelBasher Has Been Upgraded
The update brings several new features and quality-of-life changes designed to make the working process even more convenient.
In case you missed it, just before Christmas, Digital Artist and Game Developer Richard Lems announced the release of an updated version of PixelBasher, Richard's kitbashing tool that enables Digital Artists to create pixel art with ease. The update brought several new features and quality-of-life changes designed to make the working process even more convenient.
The highlight of the update is the addition of new resolution settings, including several uncommon settings and laptop resolutions, and the new option to scale the internal rendering resolution in accordance with your monitor.
The new version of the tool also includes:
- Editor settings save: Once the user closes the settings tab, the application should save the editor settings and load them the next time PixelBasher is started. This loads the background colors and internal rendering resolution as the user last defined them.
- Grid snap: Work has begun on a grid snapping feature.
- Build-in palettes: A few palettes from Lospec were added to the FX window.
- New parts: A few new parts have been added.
