Roblox Open Beta Announced for Meta Quest 2 & Pro

Meta announced that Roblox will soon be available for Meta Quest but first, the title is getting an open beta starting in the coming weeks.

"On average, more than 66 million users log into Roblox every day, with a community that spans mobile devices (both iOS and Android), desktops, and Xbox, and we can’t wait to add Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and (coming soon) Quest 3 to the mix," wrote the team. 

The team wants to use the beta test as a chance for creators to experiment, learn, and iterate on VR experiences before Roblox is ready for the full launch. 

Over 15 million active experiences are already available in Roblox, and Meta noted that Roblox is automatically publishing some experiences that use default player scripts to support VR devices so Meta Quest users are promised great content from day one. "And because Roblox is cross-platform, you’ll be able to connect, play, and hang out with friends across Xbox, iOS, Android, and desktop —helping to make VR more social than ever before," added the team.
