Rockstar Games took over Ruffian Games, the development team behind Crackdown 2. The company has also rebranded the studio as Rockstar Dundee.
TheGamer noted that the acquisition dates back to October 1 when the two companies decided to change the name and shift control.
It appears that the teams have also been looking for engineers to develop "unspecified titles". The studio was originally launched in 2009 by veterans from Climax, DMA Design, and RealTime. The company united developers behind Crackdown, Project Gotham Racing, Fable 2, and Grand Theft Auto.
