Serious Sam The First Encounter Ray Traced

A Software Engineer at Wargaming Sultim Tsyrendashiev has revealed the Serious Sam TFE: Ray Traced project, a project that makes one of the best shooters of all times look like some of the modern games. Serious Sam TFE: Ray Traced is a port of the classic Serious Sam: The First Encounter and includes a reworked graphics engine to enable ray tracing support. With the hardware-accelerated ray tracing, it is possible to calculate global illumination, reflections, refractions, soft shadows, and other visual effects completely in real-time

According to the project's GitHub page, this is only one of the first versions of Serious Sam TFE: Ray Traced, with more updates being planned by Tsyrendashiev.
