SketchUp for iPad Has Been Officially Released

The tool's beta phase is now over.

Back in September 2021, Trimble revealed the beta version of SketchUp, the company's tool that allows you to create, edit, and view 3D models whether you’re on a job site or on the go. Since then, the company has been constantly refining and improving the app, listening to the users of the beta version. Now, eight months later, Trimble announced that the tool has been officially released.

The released version of SketchUp comes with several new features, including Autoshape, a new machine-learning feature that enables you to turn doodles into 3D shapes instantly, Markup mode, which allows you to mark up and sketch over top 3D models with different styles, colors, and strokes using Apple Pencil, AR viewing, that allows you to experience your projects in the context of the real world, and more.

SketchUp for iPad supports iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini devices running iOS 15 or better. You can learn more about the tool and download it here.
