Slick Parkour Animations Made in Unreal Engine for a Game

Developer Zahid Ali Jeelani has demonstrated ENENRA's upgraded parkour system.

Solo Game Developer Zahid Ali Jeelani has shared a new demo for ENENRA, the developer's upcoming hack-and-slash game with time-rewinding mechanics, being created with Unreal Engine 5, providing an update on one of the game's main gameplay elements – parkour.

With this demo, the developer showcased the game's upgraded parkour system, which, while still WiP, received a ton of changes and is now much more dynamic and fast-paced and features more movement animations and abilities, e.g. the ability to pin to moving surfaces. Additionally, Zahid revealed that ENENRA's parkour sections and enemy sections will be similar to those in Devil May Cry 5, meaning that they will be separate from one another.

Earlier, Zahid also showcased ENENRA's Tether, a cool gameplay ability that enables the player to jump and hover in the air, pull all the surrounding enemies to their level, and quickly slash them one by one by flitting from one NPC to another in a stylish fashion:

And here are some more of the most recent demos shared by the developer:
