Sony finally unveiled more details about the PlayStation Portal device for remote play on their website. The upcoming device will feature an 8-inch LCD screen with a 1080p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Portal will allow players to remotely connect to the PS5 console via Wi-Fi to launch games installed on the console.

The team shared that PlayStation Portal will have all the main features of the wireless DualSense controller, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Sony calls the new device a "perfect device for gamers who have to share the living room TV with others or simply want to play their PS5 games in another room."

Here is a video preview shared by IGN:

As for audio output, the device is equipped with a 3.5mm audio output for connecting wired headphones. One unit would cost you $200 – the device will be available at the end of 2023.

Alongside PlayStation Portal, Sony introduced the wireless Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore headphones. Pulse Elite is Sony's new wireless headset that supports lossless audio and comes with a retractable boom mic and AI-enhanced noise rejection to filter background sounds.
