Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse Gets a New Trailer

The long-awaited sequel arrives on June 2, 2023.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the second official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, an upcoming animated superhero film and a sequel to the award-winning 2018 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, beloved by many for its outstanding story and impeccable animation.

"After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence," reads the trailer's description. "But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most."

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson and stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker from the alternate universe, and Jason Schwartzman as The Spot.
