Google gives 2 free months of Stadia Pro during the global lockdown. With a free 2-month subscription, you will also get instant access to nine games, including such titles as GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection, and Thumper. During this period, you can purchase other games, too, and they will be yours even after the end of the period.
If you are new to Stadia, here are your steps to get free 2 months access:
- Go to Stadia.com to sign up
- Download the Stadia app on Android or iOS
- Play on your laptop, desktop or Chrome OS tablet with your favorite (HID compliant) USB supported controller or mouse and keyboard
- Play over Wi-Fi on Pixel or many supported Android phones
If you’re already a subscriber to Stadia Pro, then the monthly payments for this period will be canceled. After 2 free months, the charges will be renewed, but you can cancel the subscription at any time.
Due to increased internet traffic, Google will also reduce the default screen resolution from 4K to 1080p. Please, note that these changes are temporary, and you still can adjust your data in the settings.
