Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake to be Developed by Aspyr

The remake of KOTOR is getting closer.

The unannounced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake will be created by port studio Aspyr. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier announced the deal on the MinnMax podcast.

The studio previously developed Mac, Android, and iOS ports of both KOTOR and its sequel, plus several other Star Wars games. "This is public at this point, I've basically confirmed Aspyr - which is the company that's ported a bunch of KOTOR games - is working on the remake," Schreier said.

Are you excited about the remake? What do you want Aspyr to improve in the upcoming version of the legendary game? Discuss the announcement in the comments.
