Steam has hit a new record of concurrent users with over 33 million people visiting the service this weekend.
According to Steam's own charts, the peak of concurrent users reached 33,076,694 on January 8. The figure provided by SteamDB is a little higher – 33,078,963 users.
The service has also hit another record – for the first time in the history of Steam, more than 10 million players were in-game at the same time.
Steam updates its record of concurrent players quite regularly. The previous milestone of concurrent users on Steam was revealed in November 2022 – at the time, 31 million users were online on the platform at the same time. And a month earlier, in October, this figure was 30 million users.
