Stranger Things' Rainbow Room Recreated With Houdini & Unreal Engine 5

The scene was made by Matthew Quickel to learn more about proceduralism in Houdini.

Lead Environment Artist at Firaxis Games Matthew Quickel has recently unveiled an amazing new environment inspired by Netflix's sci-fi horror drama series Stranger Things. Using Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini, the artist has managed to thoroughly recreate the show's Rainbow Room, complete with tons of realistic props and the cold lighting present in the original. According to the creator, with this new piece, he "expanded on the procedural work in Houdini".
