Siblings Robert Marriner-Dodds and Cassandra Dodds formed a new team that will work on Ghibli-style role-playing games.
The new company, called Studio Cerca, will be developing kid-friendly tabletop RPGs similar to Dungeons and Dragons. Previously, the siblings created a series for D&D 5e, Dragon Drop.
The upcoming projects will be influenced by the legendary style of the Studio Ghibli co-founder, Hayao Miyazaki. The creator of Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro is said to be Robert and Cassandra's main source of inspiration. They want to develop games for the whole family.
Little is known about the upcoming projects, but the duo shared the first look at their art style and a logo. Please note that the whole project is still in the Kickstarter phase, and you can now sign up for their newsletter on the official website.
