Survive in This Dark, Dystopian RPG set Beyond The Solar System

"Build spaceships, join factions, and fight for territory on voxel planets or in space. "

If you are a fan of open-world survival games, we highly recommend you check out Beta Decay, a dark, dystopian RPG made with Unreal Engine that takes you far beyond the Sol System. It's a space-age adventure where you can build spaceships, fight for your faction, and explore voxel planets.

My first look at the game's visuals gave me a sense of awe. Truly, it's a visual treat. It merges the low-poly aesthetic of retro style with the high tech of today, all set against neon-lit cities and deformable planetary terrains.

In this game, you're part of a colonized exo-planet deep within the Alpha Centauri Star System. Whether you're an engineer fixing shuttles or a syndicate leader planning city raids, the game offers roles for every kind of player.

Survival is a key element, so prepare to eat, drink, and sleep to keep your character alive. And remember, death is permanent, so tread carefully on foreign worlds.

The indie developer behind the game, Rotoscope Studios, has shared a number of clips on social media and their YouTube channel, including a 16-minute gameplay video. Let's delve deeper into these clips:

The game's release date is yet to be announced, but if you'd like to get early access, we recommend signing up on the official site so you can get a chance to be selected for their alpha test. The developer is updating the progress of the game on Twitter as well. If you would like to play the game when it's launched, wishlisting the game on Steam will ensure you get notified as soon as the game is officially launched.
