Syncing a Soccer Game With Mocap Data in Augmented Reality

Guillaume Chican demonstrated the future of watching TV.

Head of Immersive Technologies and AR/VR Developer Guillaume Chican has recently demonstrated an absolutely mind-blowing project that the developer calls "The future of watching TV." The developer has managed to synchronize a soccer match playing on a TV screen with motion capture data in real-time and then view the game as a hologram via Tilt Five's glasses and gameboard, which allow you to view and play games in 3D space. According to the creator, the virtual recreation of the match works by connecting a laptop both to the TV screen via HDMI and to the Tilt Five glasses via USB.
