The company that purchased mobile apps developer was previously known as Zhejiang Jinke Peroxides, but now it’s called Zhejiang Jinke Entertainment Culture. This change reflects a desire to study mobile games and entertainment industry.
This kind of deals seems to be a recent trend for Chinese companies. More and more Chinese investors are willing to dive into the world of mobile apps and video games. The deal with Outfit7 though can be named one of the most expensive. Chinese mining firm Shandong Hongda bought Runescape creator for $300 million in 2015 and the year before that Chinese meat supplier Sumpo Food purchased a majority stake in Warframe developer.
