Tekken 7 Hits the Record of 9 Million Sales

The Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada announced that Tekken 7 had sold over 9 million copies, which is the highest record in the franchise, beating Tekken 3's 8.3 million. Together with the other games, Tekken's sales have reached 53 million units.

In November, Tekken 7 counted 8 million sold copies, so the sales are rapidly growing despite the game coming out for PC and consoles over 5 years ago, in 2017.
