The Dark Souls Series Sold Over 27 Million Units

The series has now sold over 27 million units across three games, FromSoftware announced.

Bandai Namco has also noted that the third part sold 10 million units alone. Back in 2015, the company reported that the first two entries had sold 8.5 million copies across consoles and PC meaning that the series has sold 18.5m copies in 5 years.

Please note that the number doesn't include the PlayStation 3-exclusive Demon’s Souls, which has sold over a million copies since its launch in 2011.

FromSoftware has also reminded its fans that their new game, Elden Ring, is still in development for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. What is more, their latest game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, has sold over 3.8 million copies.
