That's according to Bethesda Game Studios' HR Generalist.
A Twitter user Timur222 has noticed an interesting detail, that may or may not tell us about the production stage of the upcoming continuation of The Elder Scrolls franchise. Timur222 has found a LinkedIn profile that belongs to Bethesda Game Studios' HR Generalist Fanny Manset, according to which, the long-awaited TES6 is still in the pre-production phase, almost 4 years since it was first announced during E3 2018. If the LinkedIn post is genuine, it would only mean that the fans of the series won't be able to revisit Tamriel any time soon.
Back in June 2021, during an interview with The Telegraph, Todd Howard said that the next game in the series was still in the design phase. "It's good to think of The Elder Scrolls 6 as still being in a design [phase] but we’re checking the tech: 'Is this going to handle the things we want to do in that game?' Every game will have some new suites of technology so Elder Scrolls 6 will have some additions to Creation Engine 2 that that game is going to require," Howard said in that interview.
