This day of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered launch has come: PlayStation 5 players can finally enjoy the adventure with its improved visuals and extra features. To celebrate, Sony has published a new trailer where you can see the main characters and some important scenes from the game.
To me, the models look prettier and the animations cleaner than what we saw three years ago. You can compare it to the old trailers to see all the differences:
"Play The Last of Us Part II Remastered, the winner of over 300 Game of the Year awards, now remastered for the PlayStation 5 console. Experience for the first time or relive Ellie and Abby’s story with new gameplay modes like the roguelike survival experience No Return, full DualSense wireless controller integration, graphical enhancements, and more. "
While the game offers a new roguelike survival mode, increased texture resolution, improved shadow quality, and enhanced Level-of-Detail distances, the mere existence of this remaster still causes arguments among players. Many fans don't think the original The Last of Us Part 2 released in 2020 needed an upgrade, but Naughty Dog's game director Matthew Gallant doesn't understand the "consternation." He called it "the best way to play," and you can check if it's true today.
