The Witcher world will expand with the fourth game. The president of the CD Projekt Group, Adam Kiciński, stated that the company’s future projects relate to Witcher and Cyberpunk worlds only. After the Cyberpunk 2077 release, which was delayed to September 17, 2020, the development of Witcher 4 will begin.
"Immediately after the completion of work on Cyberpunk 2077, work on the next title will start from a hoof. The new project is embedded in the Witcher universe, which is in line with the earlier assurances of CD Project", said Adam Kiciński during the meeting with the journalists.
Kiciński also added that the title won’t be called Witcher 4 and won’t be a direct sequel to Witcher 3.
