The Witcher 3 will get a new version being created for next-generation consoles and PC which will be free to owners of the game on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The upgraded version will have ray-tracing and faster load times, plus feature both expansions and all extra content.
Little is known about the release date, but the edition will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X when it arrives. A good idea would be to buy a cheap copy of the game on a current-gen platform now and then play the enhanced version for free.
