This Awesome Pastel-Style 3D Portrait Was Made Using Blender

3D Modeler and Animator known only as crzyzhaa, who earlier this month shared a detailed tutorial on setting up a Ghibli-style NPR waterfall in Blender, strikes again with a brand-new masterpiece made using the world's most popular open-source 3D software.

This time, the creator presented a fantastic pastel-style character portrait that looks 2D when static but is revealed to be fully 3D when in motion. According to crzyzhaa, they developed their own methods for stylized, hand-painted-like portraits over the years, suggesting that the featured artwork was set up using custom techniques rather than the common approaches showcased in myriads of tutorials.
