This Comic Book-Style FPS Feels Like A Game From The '90s

A gritty crime noir saga called Fallen Aces feels very familiar.

Have a look at Fallen Acesm an upcoming shooter from the New Blood Interactive team that feels like classic FPS games from the 90s.

The team has recently shared new nine minutes of gameplay featuring the story's protagonist Mike waking up in his apartment suffering from a hungover. The hero (or antihero) eats a sandwich, gets a phone call, and decides it's the right time to fight some bad guys.

The development team promises a gritty crime noir saga with three episodes and dozens of levels, featuring fully-voiced hand-drawn comic cutscenes. To fight enemies, players can use fists, knives, pipes, trash cans, pistols, Tommy guns, and more.

The dev also promises a non-linear level design – you will be able to choose your path, use stealth, go loud, or mix approaches.

The game doesn't currently have a release date but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam. You also might want to check out ARC SEED, a turn-based game with destructible environments where you need to pilot giant mechs. Learn more here
