This FPS with Classic Disney Art Style Got a New Gameplay Trailer

Fumi Games, Developer of the much-anticipated MOUSE, an upcoming FPS inspired by old-school Disney cartoon, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer, which also reveals the game’s official name: Mouse: P.I. For Hire. 

As soon as the game was teased back in May 2023, its unique mixture of rubber hose cartoon art style and first-person-shooter genre left many impressed. The graphic immediately takes you on a time travel back to the 1930s, where you play a private detective whose main task is to fight against gangs and villains in a noir city.   

In December 2023, the game received its early gameplay trailer, which had been viewed 2.3 million times. A year and a half have passed, and compared with the newly launched gameplay trailer, we can see quite a lot of work has been done as the game evolves: the improved soundtrack, an underwater view, and redesigned weapons. I was so surprised when I saw how the guns were wobbling with the movement of the protagonist.  

A few months ago, we had the honor to conduct an interview with Fumi's Founder and CEO Mateusz Michalak and Lead Producer Maciej Krzemień, where they discussed their choice of Unity as the game’s engine, talked about the game’s unique art style, and shared their opinion on violence in video games.
