Oroshibu shared updates on his custom Aseprite plug-in.
Called Easymetric, this plug-in for Aseprite, a popular pixel art software, has been in development by Oroshibu for quite some time. Essentially, it allows for easy creation of isometric pixel art, but as the developer notes, you can literally use it to do anything.
In the latest development update, Oroshibu shared that Easymetric now features colored and textured modes, automatic outlines, and allows each layer to have its own geometry, which supports creating advanced and complex models. It also includes tools like dithering and interpolation, supports animations, and can export models in the .obj format.
Here's a demo showing how Easymetric geometry can be exported directly to Minecraft with just a single click:
