This UE5-Powered Ant Sim Game got a New Trailer & Release Date

Empire of the Ants, a 3D photorealistic real-time strategy game that lets you play the role of a brave ant, has released a new trailer and announced its launch date.

For those who missed our earlier report on this game, it is based on Bernard Werber's eponymous book. As the Ant Savior, your mission is to rescue a doomed ant colony through adventure-filled exploration, strategic battles, and forging alliances with other wildlife species such as ladybugs, butterflies, snails, and more. The game is developed by Tower Five and published by the France-based game development and publishing studio, Microids.

Upon viewing the new trailer, I momentarily forgot that it was for a game, as it gave me the impression of a documentary. The photorealistic graphics transport me into a world reminiscent of the one depicted in the "Planet Earth."

The game is slated for launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 7. So, mark your calendars and add the game to your wishlist on Steam if you'd like to delve into the world of hardworking ants defending their territory.
