Tiffany & Co to Drop Pokémon-Themed Jewelry

It doesn't cost much though, just up to $29,000.

Pokémon, a Japanese media franchise known for its video game releases, has recently teamed up with luxury brand Tiffany & Co. and artist Daniel Arsham of Arsham Studio to create an exclusive line of jewelry pieces featuring iconic Pokémon characters.

Set for release in December, the capsule collection will include necklaces and bracelets. Notable items in the collection consist of an 18-karat yellow gold Pikachu necklace with diamond accents valued at approximately $29,000, and oxidized sterling silver pendants with diamond accents showcasing Charmander, Mew, Cubone, Squirtle, and Jigglypuff, priced at around $1,290 each. To store these exquisite accessories, the collaboration also offers a Tiffany Blue Pokeball box.

Daniel Arsham, in an interview with High Snobiety, shared his inspiration for the collection, aiming to capture the aesthetic of his Future Relics art series, which presents everyday objects as archaeological artifacts from a dystopian future. Through the collaboration with Tiffany & Co., Arsham expressed his delight in immortalizing beloved Pokémon in a celebration of Tiffany's renowned artistry, which aligns with his vision, reminiscent of the Future Paradox Pokémon featured in Pokémon Violet. The Pokémon jewelry collection will be available at the Tiffany & Co. Landmark in New York and through Tiffany & Co.'s official website.

This Pokémon collaboration could be an exquisite option for a holiday gift, particularly for passionate fans and collectors. However, the exclusivity and craftsmanship come with a hefty price tag.
