Tutorial: Art Directing Volumetric Clouds in Unreal Engine 4

An Unreal Artist at Qvisten Animation William Faucher shared an in-depth tutorial that will help you to have full control over your volumetric clouds.

Have a look at this thorough tutorial made by William Faucher that will teach you how to control the position and placement of your volumetric clouds in UE4. By default, Volumetric Clouds are very limited and don't offer a whole lot of control for art directing. Using such blueprints as Cloud Mask Object and Cloud Mask Generator, William explains how to change that.

Do keep in mind though that this tutorial doesn't cover the Paint Clouds method, only the blueprints method.

William Faucher is well-known by some for the in-depth tutorials on Unreal Engine. Recently William posted a tutorial on the Skylight tool in Unreal Engine 4, you should definitely check this one out as well to learn more about "...the weirdest light, and most misused and misunderstood light out there."
