Might & Magic X: Legacy
Ubisoft is now seeking specialists for a “new Might & Magic AAA game” according to a new job listing. The company needs someone to "champion the brand marketing and product marketability of a new Might & Magic AAA game." It appears that the project is being developed at Ubisoft Shanghai, according to the job description.
In case you are not familiar with the series, the first title called Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum was released for Apple II, Mac, MS-DOS, Commodore 64, NES MSX, and PC-Engine back in 1986. 10 games and several spinoffs have been released since then.
The series was originally made by New World Computing, then the company folded into 3DO in 1996. Ubisoft purchased the rights to Might & Magic for $1.3 million in 2003. The last main series Might & Magic game, Might & Magic X: Legacy, was launched in 2014 on PC and Mac.
