Following the rumors that Ubisoft+'s launch on Microsoft's consoles is imminent, Ubisoft officially announced that its subscription service is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, enabling subscribers to access the publisher's games library on the Xbox ecosystem.
It's worth noting that the subscription for Ubisoft+ remains separate on Xbox and is not integrated with other subscriptions such as Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, there is a difference in the number of games available between the Xbox and PC subscriptions for Ubisoft+. Xbox users can play over 60 games, while PC users have access to a larger library of over 100 games.
To play Ubisoft+ games on Xbox, you will need to opt for the pricier Multi Access plan, which is available for $17.99 per month. In addition to Xbox, this plan grants access to the service on PC and Amazon's Luna cloud gaming service.
Another advantage of subscribing to Ubisoft+ is the continuously expanding lineup, which includes new releases from Ubisoft on the day of their launch.
Ubisoft has been working on bringing Ubisoft Plus to Xbox for a while, having initially announced the service's expansion to Microsoft's consoles in January 2022. With its recent release, Xbox users now have another subscription option to choose from when it comes to playing games.
