Ultra App Kit 1.1 Goes Cross-Platform
Windows, Linux, and macOS are now supported by Ultra App Kit.
Last Sunday, Ultra App Kit 1.1 was released, adding the support of macOS and Linux. This means you can code once and compile everywhere to easily create cross-platform GUI applications. Ultra App Kit is a new cross-platform, user interface toolkit option focused on satisfying the needs of game engines/tools but also covering needs for other desktop GUI applications.
Along with various small bug fixes, version 1.1 adds the following new commands:
- Display::ClientArea() returns an iVec4 defining the usable area inside the screen, minus any bars the OS uses.
- Widget::SetFontBold() allows you to display bold text on a widget.
- Command() allows easy interaction with the system console/terminal.
