Unreal Editor for Fortnite's Release Date Announced

The application is scheduled to release on March 22, 2023, and will allow you to develop and publish experiences directly into Fortnite.

Epic Games has announced the release date of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), a neat PC application that enables its user to design, develop, and publish games and experiences directly into Fortnite, first unveiled by EG CEO Tim Sweeney last year.

Featuring many of the tools present in Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5, including custom asset import, modeling, materials, VFX, Sequencer, and Control Rig, the add-on is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2023, via Epic Games Store.

According to the developer, UEFN works side-by-side with Fortnite's existing Creative toolset and includes Verse, a new programming language with robust customization capabilities, which allows one to manipulate or chain together devices and features the ability to create new game logic.
