Unreal Engine 4-Powered Need For Speed Mobile Gets Gameplay Videos

You can sign up for the beta.

EA is still pretty secretive about Need for Speed Mobile, the next installment in this very popular racing game series that will be released for Android and iOS. It's not that surprising: the title is still in beta, so we won't get any promotional materials any time soon I suspect.

What we can see is the gameplay footage from the racer provided by YouTuber Techzamazing. I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but to me, the game looks pretty smooth and impactful. I'm sure fans of the franchise will love it if Tencent and EA polish it right.

We wrote about Need for Speed Mobile in 2022, and it has changed since then, although some elements definitely point to this new footage being the same game as last year's leak.

The new NfS is developed by Tencent in Unreal Engine 4 and offers an open-world multiplayer experience with over 30 tracks, a good number of cars, and tons of fun.

It is now undergoing testing, and EA is inviting more players to check it out. You'll see several racing tracks in different settings and multiple gameplay modes, including player competing and cop chase.

"The highly anticipated brand-new Need for Speed mobile game will soon commence its limited short-term testing phase, offering an extensive range of game content for you to experience. Join now and your feedback could help make the game even better!"

The test version of NfS Mobile should be available on Google Play and iOS TestFlight in Australia and Canada. The number of beta participants is limited, and your progress won't transfer to the game when it's launched.

There is no release date for Need for Speed Mobile yet, although some expect it to come out in the spring of 2024.
