Using Copycat Node to Create Mattes in NukeX

Check out this tutorial on creating effects in NukeX using the Copycat node.

YouTube channel Foundry Learning released a three-video tutorial on how to use the Copycat node in NukeX. Copycat is a new addition to Nuke 13 and works by copying sequence-specific effects such as Beauty Repairs, Deblur, or Garbage Matte from a small number of frames in a sequence and then trains the network to replicate this effect on a full sequence.

These tutorials will teach you how to make a data set, how to train and monitor the network, and how to apply and improve the results using the example of garbage matting a short video.

Please visit Foundry Learning's YouTube channel where you will find tutorials on using NukeX, MODO, and more. Also, don't forget to join our new Telegram channel, our Discord, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
