Valve Has Seemingly Confirmed That They Are Working on a VR Headset

It looks like the last year's rumors that game and software developer Valve is working on a new virtual reality headset were indeed based on legitimate sources, with the company's Product Designer Greg Coomer seemingly confirming that some sort of VR-related technology is in the works at Valve.

As reported by UploadVR, the existence of Valve's VR headset was commented on by Coomer all the way back in December 2022, who told Korean gaming news outlet This Is Game that the company has been "working on a new VR headset lately". The production stage at which their headset is or its estimate release date, however, have not been revealed, with Coomer only noting that Valve has "several projects going on in-house" and expressing the studio's confidence in VR as a medium.
