ViZual Game Jam Opens With over $1000 Prize Pool

Open to both beginners and experienced developers, the jam challenges participants to create a game inspired by the theme “First Contact” – interpreted in any way they choose, from alien encounters and emotional discoveries to unexpected relationships and surreal events.

All entries must be created in ViZual and submitted as playable Windows .exe builds through the 80 Level Discord server. Solo developers and teams of any size are welcome.

Please note: ViZual is currently in alpha, and this jam is a part of the road to the official ViZual 1.0 launch. 

Prizes

The competition features a total of $1,025 in Steam Gift Cards, including:

• $500 for 1st place
• $250 for 2nd place
• $150 for 3rd place
• $75 for 4th place
• $50 for 5th place

Selected projects may also be featured on both the 80 Level and official ViZual websites.
