A partnership has been announced today between Melesta Games and Wargaming. This allows Wargaming (creator of World of Tanks) freedom “to experiment with new business models for its mobile games”.
Instead of putting all their eggs in one basket, Wargaming has intelligently decided to expand their horizons beyond World of Tanks. It was today that they publicly announced a partnership with a leading casual game company, Melesta Games (Toy Defense 4 and Zombies: Line of Defense). This is great news for both companies. Wargaming now has room to try out new and different business models for its mobile games, while bringing their knowledge of publishing on board for Melesta Games.
Partnering with Melesta Games was a natural choice for us. They have an excellent portfolio of mobile titles, a wealth of experienced people, and their close proximity to our Minsk studio will help streamline our work. We all feel very positive about our future cooperation.
