You Can Feel the Weight of Each Blade Strike in This 3D Animation

Aymeric Richard showed a new character animation made in Maya.

3D Animator and Post-Production Assistant Aymeric Richard has recently amazed hundreds of viewers by showcasing an impressive character animation created in Autodesk Maya. The animation in question depicts a young samurai warrior executing a series of katana strikes with remarkable fluidity and a touch of realism, allowing viewers to feel the weight of the blade through the screen. According to Aymeric, he utilized Khaled Hussein's Bloody Young Samurai rig and Shadrak Guichard-Foster's collection of Maya Viewport VFX rigs to set up the sequence.
